The Amazing Features of the Galaxy S3
The device doesn’t base it success on
just the specs, while hardware is very important, you can’t leave out
the software side of things. The S3 package comes with some lovely,
unique features you won’t see on other smartphones any time soon.
The Galaxy S3 and S-Voice
Have you heard of Siri
for Apple’s iPhone devices? It is a smart piece of software that can do
actions corresponding to given voice commands. Of course, these options
are limited, but Samsung went beyond that. So what type of commands can
you give the S3? Well, let us start from your typical day. The first
thing you do is wake up, right? Or rather the alarm wakes you up, but
most of the time you just press Snooze. Why bother getting up and
pressing it though? Just say Snooze, and S Voice will do the job!
Another cool thing is telling it Volume Up or Volume Down so you don’t
bother with the volume keys. But this is all just the basics of S Voice,
you can search the net and organize your files and events easily as
well!
Smart Stay for Galaxy S3
This is a really awesome approach to
using eye tracking technology and it is cool that Samsung is including
into this new phone. A sensor will monitor your eye and for as long as
you are looking at the phone’s screen, the screen will not auto-lock or
go dim. That’s just how smart this phone is!
S Beam is the new Meta!
Two phones touching and using the S
Beam technology can use file transfer via a NFC and WiFi Direct
connection and operate at up to 300Mbps. Not too many devices will be S
Beam compatible in the near future, but once Samsung gets things on the
way, this piece of technology will be a very good way to transfer data
and stream media.
Smart Alert for the Smartest Phone
This function has been explained the
least, but may prove to be one of the more ingenious solutions to a few
simple problems. The notifications system has been forgotten about a
long time ago and many users consider it annoying. Even so, it is still a
vital part of most devices. Smart Alert gives you a lot of
functionality so that you can choose what is notification worthy and
what you don’t want to be bothered with.
Burst Shot and Best Photo
A lot of people we sad over the fact
that the S3 doesn’t a feature the 12MP camera that we expected and hoped
for. But it doesn’t make much a difference and the S3 really has one of
the better cameras thanks to the digital software behind the whole
process. The burst shot feature allows you to take 20 pictures in a couple of moments and then the best photo
feature will help choose the best one. Photographers probably know
about this method and that it is available only on the
most professional devices. And it doesn’t come with a system that picks
out the best one on its own either.
